Why dont Aust govt look after us first and not the refugees?

Well, I did a bit of digging into how much Australia ACTUALLY spends on refugees. All I did was google the australin federal budget, and also check out my blog for HEAPS MORE information (if you can be bothered to read it, but if you want to have an INFORMED opinion I recommend you do so)

TOTAL AGGREGATE EXPENDITURE on everything and anything:  $354.6 BILLION
This is the total amount of out going cash. The “final” figure on how much money is spent in one year.

AUSTRALIAN SOCIAL SECURITY AND WELFARE expenditure: $114.9 BILLION
This is the “looking after our own” expenditure. This accounts for 32.5% of the entire spending.

HOMELESSNESS expenditure: $4.9 BILLION
The current investment in the "White Paper" scheme. This accounts for 1.5% of the entire spending.

AGED CARE approxmate expenditure: $883.7 million
The above figure is the sum of various (though not all) “Aged Care” initiatives throughout the budget. $36.8m of this is a capital measure, not an expenditure, though in this context they are much the same. This accounts for 0.25% of the total aggregate expenditure.

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS expenditure: $324.8 million
This money is granted to the Australian Sports Commission. This accounts for 0.092% of the entire spending.

TOTAL EXPENDITURE ON DETENTION CENTRES FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS $ 202.2 million
143 million of that goes towards expanding the detention centres to stop the over crowding. $22 million of that goes towards improving basic amenities (toilets, showers, etc). This isn’t covering the cost of a white picket fence, it’s a cost to provide them with basic human rights while they are being detained and processed.





So sports gets more money than the people running for genocidal countries... is there really that big of a problem with that?

South Africa is heaps worse off now with no apartheid. Blacks are dumb, its a fact. They cant be left to themselves to run their own country. They need to be owned.
The illegal immigrant problem would be solved if they were shot before they made it to land. If they want to come here why dont they do it like everyone else has to and not jump the kew (however its spelt). Better still, dont let any of them come here at all i say.

Further to that, the reason they risk their life by jumping on a boat is because not every country is like Australia, where you can just apply through the government to get a visa.

Applying for asylum to leave your country in places like Nigeria can end up with you getting shot and kidnapped, and if you're a female 14 year old you may end up in a baby factory being raped to produce babies for human trafficking.

FURTHER MORE, in places like Afghanistan where the Taliban dominate, if you are even slightly anti-taliban your life is in risk. Now, when to apply to seek Asylum to anywhere in the West, you have to communicate with the West. If these people are discovered to be communicating with the West, they risk their families being murdered and their daughters raped. Think about your sister, and think about her being raped by someone at gun point. Now think that the only reason she is being raped at gun point is because you applied to live in England.

What the fuck are you doin on this site? Most here are in support of the white australia policy!!! I couldnt give a fuck whats happening over seas.
