Im going to Brisbane in a few weeks and was wondering what are some real Australian Pubs and other bogany places, that anyone from Brisbane or whatever can give me the hot tip on?

I'm near town so I don't know many places out of it - the irish pub at Garden City is on the south side has a fair few bogans.  In the Valley try the Elephant and Wheel Barrow or the RG.  In town the pig and whistle is good but can get a bit pommey if the brits are playing sport although your best bet in town is the Victory.
If you're out west the RG, Regatta and Indorro are good student hang outs and fun for all most nights.

well i been to queensland....went to the four ex brewry and it wasnt bad...actually had a good time..it was only 18 bucks and you get 4 schooners (i dunno what qlders call them) and the tour went for about 2hrs.

also went to the gold coast which was very different to say the least..and also went to meandarra bns which was farking feral but has a ripper night..

all and all i had a good time and it dreading going back to adelaide.

mate you can't go wrong in QLD avoid all the touristy places such as the gold coast and 99% of the people are bogans specially further north...
