To many of you seem to confuse being patriotic with being racist. The two concepts are not the same.  In the interests of preserving the country from ruin, I hope that you and others who think like you stop the racism - but up the anti on the patriotism.

On Australia Day, I don't wanna see Anglo Australians drapped in Australian flags only to go attacking/bashing asians and wogs or whatever. I would like to see these people drapped in the flag because they are proud of it and the country. And might I ad, just for the record, that I think that Australia is the greatest country in the world. I love Australia too, mate. Despite being born and bred here it seems that my only barrier to being " Australian" is that I come from wog immigrant parents. Who, by the way, did nothing but work hard all their lives in a country that they were INVITED to come and immigrate to and call their own.

Australia Day is for all Australians. For Multi-Culturalism to work, in this country, anyone Australian - regardless of their racial background should be able to feel as Australian as anyone else living in Australia. Currently, we don't have that.

By bringing in a racial component - you perpetuate an us and them mentality.

What you want - which is a racially pure Anglo-Saxonic Australia - belongs in the Fifties along with the White Australia Policy.

Why are you hanging on to such an ideal when it simply cannot work in today's Australia. Can't you understand that what you want is not relevant anymore??

If you can't understand this, how about you go back to Ireland or England or wherever the else your ancestors came from. If you don't wanna be a part of the Australian experience (which means a multi - cultural experience that you are resisting the reality of) you too can give yourself the option of leaving the country, rather than imposing the option solely on wogs and asians.

Having said the above, I do concede some things. When Australia let wogs into the country they did it wrong. I think that I can agree with you there. What needed to be done was this:-

- Make all wogs Anglicise their names upon arrival to this country.

- Make all wogs learn English to an acceptable standard (ie within a certain time in the country) or face deportation.

- Religion is the key, and, I cannot emphasise this enough. If you Anglo-Saxonic Australians are not comfortable with muslims, buddhist, hindus ( ie anyone that is not from a christian based culture) then why did you let them in. Surely you have to take some responsibility for it as a group of people. Didn't you know that religion is a dangerous thing. Look around the world today, and see how many wars/struggles have been motivated by religion and religious faith. There is one particular religion that is a potential threat to us all in Australia (I'll let you brainstorms work out which one it is). What they do, in this particular religious group, is simply populate until they are many in numbers. When they have the numbers through population growth and also through conversions - then and only then do they make demands and almost always resort to using violence if they must.

- Understanding that there is a big difference to the wogs coming into this country these days and the old wogs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. The wogs from those days gone by wanted to be like you. But you people would not let us be like you. You drew a line in the sand, and, said well we're Aussies and you lot are wogs. Well, I've got news for you. This new type of wog that is coming into the country, seemingly in droves, does not want to be anything like you.

Well this wog, was raised here in Australia. I love my country as much as you do, mate. I got my Aussie flag in my home, just like you.

But I think that I know what you are trying to say. The Australian Immigration Policy was not appropriate for the majority of the people living in Australia. There was nowhere near the stringent criteria that you would have liked to have seen being applied. It has left people like yourself frustrated and cheated, because you are dealing with what you see as the repercussions and flow on effect of having such a relaxed migration policy.
