"Sound Relief" concert

Any of youse lot see any of this? It was on Channel V on Foxtel. It was the bushfire relief concert. There was a whole bunch of old Aussie bands from the 1980s, including Midnight Oil, Hoodoo Gurus, Hunters & Collectors etc.

Only saw bits of myself. I'm spewin' I never got to see Rose Tattoo or Wolfmother.  But I got to see Midnight Oil and fuck me dead if Peter Garrett still hasn't got it. A few years in parliament hasn't altered his ability to perform one iota. The Oils went off big time. never rooly been a huge fan meself, but they were rool good, even if I do find it hard to listen to their lyrics sometimes! Only complaint - they never played Hercules - definitely their best song!

Saw a bit of it this arvo after I got home.

Channel V seemed to be showing the Melbourne concert, channel Max (I think thats its name) was showing the Sydney one.  There was crossover, and to be honest I wasnt paying attention who was where!

Watching classics like the Hunters, Split Enz and Oils.... wow.

well i was out roughing it gettin attacked by sum little cunt bug that has left red spots that once u scratch turn in2 big lumps.... and yes we did have aero guard but the fuckers still got us.... 1 of me kiddies is covered from head to toe, in her hair the lot, glad i took that phenergan with us to help her poor bugger

Yeah, Split Enz were great. I saw a couple of their numbers. Tim Finn is gonna be a sore boy today I reckon.
