Not Since The Beatles!

In June 1964, over two hundred thousand people saw The Beatles show Adelaide how to play at the Adelaide Town Hall for a Mayoral Civic Reception.
Now… The Adelaide Lord Mayor is to honour classic rock band The Angels in the same way, with one exception, The Angels don’t need to show their hometown anything, they already know how to Rock!

The Angels have been invited to a Lord Mayoral Reception at Adelaide Town Hall hosted by Lord Mayor Michael Harbison, on Friday 16 April, the eve of their Orchestral Collaboration debut ‘Symphony Of Angels”. Doc Neeson, Chris Bailey, Buzz Bidstrup, John and Rick Brewster will be receiving this prestigious honour personally in front of family, friends and lucky fans.

In the past month The Angels have been unveiling a chain of amazing events including the release of a new classical version of their monster hit ‘Take A Long Line’ which was produced by the band. The new track was met with such an astounding response, that the Triple M network with Ugly Phil picked up the new single the same day it was released and the switchboard lit up with requests, something that Triple M hasn’t seen in a while with a new song.

Channel Nine’s high rating weekend show ‘Postcards’ aired on Sunday 21st March in Adelaide to one of the shows strongest weekend ratings. The show featured a behind the scenes peek at the recording of the new orchestral release of “Take A Long Line” at Alberts Studios in Sydney and the orchestra rehearsal at The Town Hall in Adelaide and MixMaster studios.

Popular ABC show Spicks and Specs have recently invited Doc Neeson to appear on the Show, the pre-recorded segment will go to air on Wednesday the 14th of April, don’t miss the comedy and fun that will unfold with a few surprises.

With the band originating from Adelaide, there couldn’t be a more appropriate city for this one off event. The Festival Theatre in Adelaide will see the Symphony of Angels become a reality for one night only on Saturday April 17th with the 30-piece Adelaide Art Orchestra.

This will be an event not to miss – Tickets selling fast.

Not stopping for a breath, The Angels will then take off to perform shows in Far North Queensland and Tasmania.

Thanks for that info, mate. I didn't know The Angels were from Adelaide.  Embarrassed
