Nowun  was serprised when he got the honor as he had plenty a previus form down at Western Oval. Good on yer Grinters! Hopoate's a joke entrant, to weed out the moorons amungst yers. He's best known as 'stinkfinger'.

Wacko Jacko for sure boys, Warney was a hard one not to pick, but, Jacko was a bloody legend real footy player back when the game was 40% biffo.
That and one of me old relatives, Bert Boromeo (Carlton high marking great from 1920 he's on page 105 of '100 years of Australian Football') was Jacko's training coach.

Yer, I voted for Jacko too. He was a riot when he used to play. He got sacked by St. Kilda, partly because "he used to intimidate the younger players in St. Kilda's forward line"! Haha. The man was an icon. Another footy player who deserves a mention is Bruce Doull - the flying doormat! Haha.

As for cricketers, yeah Boonie and Merv Hughes shoulda made the list, but yeah, Warney's a great bogan role model too. He still smokes, apparently.  Cheesy
