Hello, I am considering doing a trip to Thailand in March 2011 with my wife. As I am trying to find more information for my trip, I would kindly like to ask this forum community whether they have any tips for me for Thailand in general and Phuket, where I will stay for a week.

I have tried to find more information on the Millennium Resort Patong
 but most sites do not yield the information I am looking for.

Is Thailand considered to be a safe place? I have read a lot about the recent floodings so I am a bit worried about that too. Will it typically rain a lot in March?

I have never been....but I know a heap of people that have been and they all come home raving about it.
I'm not sure if its the cheap drinks, beautiful beaches, and bargain shopping.... or if they all just like rooting little boys?...LOL
It's never been on top of my "Places to go"list...Far too many Asians for me!...If I wanted to be surrounded by non english speaking Asians?..I'de holiday in Sydney or on the Gold Coast!....Plus I hear there are heaps of undercover coppas there just waiting to catch out tourists accepting drugs??....I wouldn't last 5mins without getting arrested or punching some lady boy out!...haha!...No thanks.

Ease up on the wog shit abit guys....They are not the enemy here.
